Sales Associate

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Responsible for working in a Team environment with multiple Account Managers in a support role as the primary contact for both internal personnel (Sales, Production & Customer Care) & external customers for all orders in production. Additionally the Account Associate is responsible for ensuring the successful facilitation of client conversations, all in-house orders, estimates & assisting Account Managers with growing their business and managing existing accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • First point of client contact. Ensures all goals and objectives of each order successfully goes through production and meets customer’s expectations.
  • Finalizes order entry details and set up for seamless handoff to Production.
  • Communicates important account/order related details to clients & Production teams.
  • Responds to all inquiries and solicits new business opportunities.
  • Actively oversee and monitor thresholds & station reports daily for appropriate follow-up on their Sales orders.
  • Work with Production CCR’s to complete orders.
  • Make follow-up calls on open estimates and/or orders.
  • Value added selling when reviewing details of orders with customers/accounts.
  • Communicate sales opportunities or campaign planning as appropriate.
  • Creates price estimates, recaps and processes orders.
  • Oversees the completion of orders through production.
  • Reviews all orders/estimates for accuracy.
  • Document all client communication via CRM.

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates Degree and/or two to three years’ related experience in sales and/or production.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Composed and enthusiastic phone voice with good articulation.
  • Ability to accurately type 25 WPM and/or proficiency in keyboarding.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong skill set and attention to detail with all transactional details associated with orders/jobs set up in Modern Order system.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and other computer programs.
  • Sales and marketing background a plus

Inside Sales Professional

Currently recruiting qualified sales professional in the Carlsbad, California area to fill the position of Inside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will have a background in Direct Mail Sales, Marketing and/or print collateral sales with at least 2 years’ experience with inside sales in a B2B and B2C environment.

General Function:

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for successfully promoting company products professionally and creatively in a given geographical region. A successful ISR will be a customer’s initial point of contact and will drive the entire sales process via phone and e-mail. The job involves engaging with existing customers and qualified sales leads, guiding customers to Modern Postcards products that best meet their needs. An ISR will need to partner closely with Prospectors that generate leads and with Account Managers that are in pursuit of business opportunities. Sales, product growth, and meeting customer needs involves approximately 60% of the time; accurate account documentation and administrative support involves approximately 20% of the time; targeted prospecting involves approximately 10% of the time; meetings and development involves approximately 10% of the time. The position is an internal sales position and requires minimal travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet or exceed sales quotas on a monthly basis set by management specifically related to Print, List and Mail Revenue
  • Grow key product areas
  • Make outbound contact to existing and prospective customers (60+ outbound calls per day) to identify sales opportunities, promote relevant marketing/sales promotional programs and initiate the sales process
  • Establish new customers and maintain/grow existing customer accounts, hitting revenue goals and growing new and returning business accounts
  • Manage and drive entire sales process via phone and email
  • Qualify leads and sales
  • Conduct targeting prospecting
  • Handle customer needs and complaints in a timely manner
  • Manage customer relationships post-sale; including a strategy to close repeat business
  • Manage accurate data and record keeping in CRM, CRT and MO databases to increase customer satisfaction and brand penetration
  • Coordinate with internal resources to address customer questions and objections
  • Provide budgetary pricing
  • Create and submit individualized quotes and set timely follow up
  • Identifies potential customers from web inquiries, magazine advertising responses, walk-ins and trade shows. Responds to inquiries and solicits new business via telemarketing
  • Provides support to other departments as needed
  • Creating relationships with managed accounts and reactivating unmanaged accounts
  • Strong focus on upgrading customers to Mailing Services, List Services and other value added services
  • Focus on closing 10+ new orders/day with timely follow up and appointment setting
  • Other duties as required and/or assigned

Education & Requirements:

  • Associates Degree and two — three years' related experience with a proven track record in outbound sales environment. Prior outbound sales experience required
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work successfully
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Composed and enthusiastic phone voice with good articulation
  • Ability to accurately type 50 WPM and/or proficiency in keyboarding
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment as well as independently
  • Knowledge of MS Office and other computer programs.
